The title speaks for itself. I wish I had a more creative subject heading for this blog post, but I am so far behind, that I'm playing a quick game of catch-up now.
I'm not very good at doing this every day.
I left off in March, Mylie's 10th birthday....then comes April where, yet again, the DeBacker's were blessed. A co-worker of Chris's has a home in Florida that he and his wife were not using and asked us to use it for the week of Spring Break. AWESOME! We jumped at the offer...turned out, the condo was a 1/2 mile from where my two older brothers and their families were staying that same week! Double Awesome!!
There was the beach during the day; (with cousins!)
There was the beach during the night;
Waves that make this pretty teenage girl look even more pretty;
Sand Dollar Catching;
Lizard Catching;
Pool Jumping;
Ice Creaming;
And Sibling Dinnering!
The rest of April and May brought us:
A celebration of two very smart girls with all A's every semester;
More pretty girls skipping school for a day to go see the Tigers play;
Watched our oldest play tennis for the 3rd year in a row...she's on the "A" team!
Watched our spunkiest (at the moment) win every single soccer game this season.
Now we are to Memorial Day Weekend. Where there will be food, family....and more food and cousins...and more food and games, and laughter and lots of love.
I'd like to say I'll post about it...

Double Digits Baby!
This is Mylie;
She's our #3 kid. She's awesome. The only time she isn't full of energy is when she is asleep. She's funny. We love her.
Mylie turned 10 this month. Turning 10 is a pretty big deal...double digits ya know. I felt like that deserved a party. A real party...with friends.
You have to know this about me: I don't do kid parties. Kudos to you supermoms that do. You rock. And when it comes to throwing super-cool-lavish kid parties, I don't.
And I'm ok with that.
My kids still think I am pretty awesome and they love me, and that is really all that matters.
Not only was this a real party, it was also a surprise party. (patting myself on the back the entire time..yes indeed. Because as I said, I don't throw parties. For the record, I won't be throwing another one anytime soon at ALL.)
Not only was this a real party, and a surprise party, it also had a theme.
I don't do themes either. I don't like them. But I knew Mylie would be thrilled, so I did it.
We had our very own Spa Party, with foot soaks, Cool Whip masks with cucumbers, and a toe and fingernail station.
I even had soft music playing.
This was one of my very special helpers;
We had vegetables and dip, "pick your flavor" milk to drink and giant "make your own fruit pizza" cookies.
Good friends (yes, there is an "extra" in there who showed up late)...presents...good food and fun. The girls had an absolute BLAST.....and I did too.
It was a great birthday.
Happy 10th Birthday Mylie! I love you!

Better late than never....
I guess I'm not very committed to blogging.
I so much want to be.....but there just aren't enough hours in a day!
Although it's close to two months past, our Christmas holiday rocked it.
We'll start with my younger babies Christmas program at church;
Christmas Eve photo and then off to Mark and Mary's for our traditional evening spent with them;
Let's try that one again,
Then....Christmas.
Everyone was happy;
ya think Darby might be a tad excited about her Big Time Rush t-shirt, vest and Monster Doll?
I do.
Then it was off to the most fabulous week-long party of the year: THE LODGE!
Someone special had a sweet-sixteen surprise birthday party;
The week consisted of;
a morbid talent;
What makes this next picture so fantastic is Billy in the background practicing his juggling skills..
Think "sisters" from White Christmas
What an amazing looking family. They are my beating heart. I would just shrivel away without these people in my life. Blessed beyond words to have a family who genuinely loves one another the way we do. Blessed.
